Dr Ed Philips
Dr. Edward Philips commenced his career, training in the Dentistry Department at the Toronto Hospital For Sick Children, where he dedicated much of his focus and passion to the cranio-facial department. His foundational experience in cosmetic dentistry stems from this training. His practice is exclusively centered on aesthetic dentistry and has placed 10,000+ Porcelain Veneers over 35 years..
Dr. Philips has been prominently featured in various newspapers, magazines, fashion events, as well as on radio and television. He has served as a consultant for multiple dental production and communication firms and is regarded as a key opinion leader for top dental materials manufacturing companies. He has played a crucial role in the development of industry software programs for companies like Exan, Geni, and Dencis.
Dr Arick Faibish
I love providing our patients with beautiful smiles and helping them improve their overall oral health! I am very passionate about aesthetic dentistry and am proud to have been working alongside Dr. Philips since 2012 and I am a full partner in the practice. Joined Downtown Dental Centre, our satelite General Dental Office right below The Studio in 2013 and is now partner both at the Studio and Downtown Dental Clinic
Dr. Matthew Choi
Dr. Matthew Choi is a board-certified specialist in Periodontics, dedicated to delivering comprehensive and advanced periodontal care. Born and raised in Toronto, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto in 2021.
Following dental school, Dr. Choi pursued a General Practice Residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. There, he trained alongside leading clinicians and surgeons, gaining extensive experience in the management of medically complex patients and advanced dentoalveolar surgery.
He returned to Toronto in 2022 to complete his specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Toronto. His clinical research focused on the development of novel, minimally invasive approaches to the diagnosis of Periodontal disease, reflecting his commitment to innovation and patient-centered care.
Dr. Choi is passionate about providing personalized, evidence-based treatment, with a focus on both routine and complex periodontal conditions.
Outside of the practice, he enjoys training for marathons and spending quality time with loved ones.
Assistant
With 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, Camille has a passion for cosmetic dentistry and thrives in the artistic, patient-focused environment of the Studio for Aesthetic Dentistry. She brings a detail-oriented approach and a calming presence to every appointment. Outside the Studio, she loves spending time with her two dogs and enjoying the simple things in life. Patients always comment how ‘sweet’ Camille is!
Colette
With over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Colette is a seasoned Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager known for her knowledgeable warm approach and dedication to patient care. She thrives on building strong relationships with patients and making every visit as smooth and welcoming as possible. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, relaxing at the cottage, and catching live music whenever she can.
